How functional is the free version?
The free version is FULLY FUNCTIONAL. Our goal is to make everyone's lives easier not just paid users. It includes all the core features you need to get organized and stay on top of your schedule. The main difference is that the free version doesn't include SMS conversations with Mallory, so you'll need to use the app or web interface for chatting and reminders. It is supported by ads. It's a great way to try out Mallory and see how it can help your household before deciding if you want to upgrade for SMS and the ad-free experience.
Can everyone in my household use it?
Yes! Add household members to your account and they can text Mallory from their own phone. Kids, grandparents, anyone who can text can use Mallory.
Do I need to download an app?
Mallory is best experienced as an app, but can also be used on your browser — use whichever you prefer. Mallory+ subscribers can also chat and intereact with Mallory via SMS.
Can I cancel anytime?
Absolutely. Cancel from your settings and you'll have access through the end of your billing period. No questions asked.
What counts as an SMS message?
Each text you send to Mallory and each response you receive counts as one message. Daily summaries and reminders are included for free in your Mallory+ plan and don't count against your monthly limit.
What happens if I go over my monthly SMS limit?
You'll get a warning when you're approaching your limit. Reminders always go through, but conversation messages will pause until the next month, so you can use the app instead where SMS does not apply.
